Bill Rabbitt is the owner of WP Financial. He has been in the financial services industry for almost 30 years and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Prior to his current role, he jumped out of perfectly good airplanes as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division.

Bill began his financial services career at Cigna Financial Advisors and learned about financial planning by taking part in Cigna’s now-legendary advisor training program. He became a manager and, ultimately, the Regional CEO as the company transitioned to Lincoln Financial under the name Sagemark Consulting.

Seeking a change and a desire to grow his personal business, Bill co-founded Private Capital Group, LLC in 2003. After 17 years as a Managing Member at Private Capital Group, Bill shifted focus to his mission in founding WP Financial, LLC.

Bill has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from U.S Military Academy, West Point. He has been active in the local community as a volunteer youth and high school lacrosse coach for over 20 years. In addition, he has served as the President of the Hartford Estate and Business Planning Council.

He’s an advocate for Habitat for Humanity and enjoys annual builds alongside his clients. Whenever time permits, you might find Bill and Kim, along with their very active dogs, hiking the trails of New England.
