Pat Sullivan is a managing director who focuses on advisor relations at Private Advisor Group. In this role, he ensures independent advisors who joined Private Advisor Group are knowledgeable, confident, and prepared to face the ever-changing financial-advisory landscape. He brings over 30 years of experience in financial services to the team.

Prior to joining Private Advisor Group, Pat held management operations and finance positions with Verizon. He then switched careers and became a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors which later led him to co-found Private Advisor Group.

Pat earned a Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York at Albany and then a Master of Business Administration from Fordham University. He holds FINRA series 4, 7, 24, 31, 53, and 63 securities registrations and designations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®).

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Covenant House NJ and The Actors Center. In addition, he spent 16 years on the Board of Good Grief and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Invest in Others Foundation for his work.

Pat lives in Morristown, NJ with his wife, Pam. They have three children who all live and work in NYC, and outside of work he enjoys running, traveling, and the performing arts.
